The spring flowers have started popping out - stopping the kids picking them has become a challenge. Our neighbour very nearly lost his whole crop of crocus. Until I took these photos I didn't realise how yummy snowdrops smelt.
And finally - I really wasn't going to put a black bridge photo in this week but the sun rays through the trees were just beautiful so.....
Spot seasons changing all around the world by visiting Skywatch Friday
Yay spring! I love the first shot and the angle on the one on the right of the collage is awesome.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see the change in the season! Hope it remains pleasant! Nice shots, especially the first one with the reflection of the bridge!
ReplyDeletePixellicious Photos
Delightful photos of our much needed spring! I didn't know snowdrops had a fragrance either. Now I'll be on the lookout!
ReplyDeleteI see spring is coming. I haven't snowdrops sprouting here yet. Our ground is still covered with snow though we have sun for 3 straight days now. Happy weekend.

And the last picture has wonderful light.
The last photo of the bridge is just haunting and lovely, could have been a scene from anywhere in time.
ReplyDeleteWe will not have Spring marked off the calendar here until the 21st.

ReplyDeleteGill in Canada
those snowdrops look so enchanting! like being in Mary's Secret Garden!! Love the sun rays coming thru the trees; the black bridge picture is great!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful pics...i just love the last one, it's so pretty! happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful springtime pictures! Our own spring came unusually early this year, and our snowdrops came and are already on their way out. My girls can't leave the flowers alone either, and snowdrops are often tucked behind ears or twined in hair because they're pretending they're fairies. It's hard to be mad when they are so adorable!
ReplyDeletefirst picture is really wonderful
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I remember spring in Holland, with the snowdrops and crocuses; I was too young when I lived in England to remember it. There's not much like that here, and it's a long time until spring takes a hold in my part of the world.
ReplyDeleteIt's the least Skywatching of your photos, but that third one is absolutely dreamy! Glad to hear that Spring has finally arrived for all of you up there.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
Hi again!
ReplyDeleteThe trees in front of the church steeple are mostly Jacaranda trees with only their green on. The bare stick tree is a Maple that is not really doing too well but still trying.
The Jac's have wonderful deep purple blooms twice a year around May-June and then Sept-Oct.
If you would like to see some lovely ones go to my June archives and see Skywatch 47!
Oooh, I am all agog at your snowdrops!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos! I love crisp blue days like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
