The clear blue skies have gone but have made way for warm and almost dry days. This is the start of spring proper - the kids played outside all weekend (on our newly constructed enormous bounceoline) and we even managed to make it to the park after work/school. This photo was taken at hometime immediately before the cries of "just a little longer". Another couple of weeks and we'll be able to do picnic teas in the park.
Have a look to see if the rest of the world got to see wide open spaces at Skywatch friday.
I love this time of year and the shot you took is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those bare trees against that mysterious looking sky! Really took my breath away! I love it! And like Carver, I love this time of year, too! Hope you have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteIsn't that a lovely beacon of light?! Lovely capture. Truly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Love the trees and that is the best time of day, the golden light and end of day start of night feeling.
ReplyDeleteOh and last weeks question, no those mountains are Mt. Baldy and the Cajon Pass. Arrowhead and Big Bear are just out of screen to the right.
I have to say San Bernardino is not the most attractive part of So Cal but it IS on the way to the mountains, deserts and all points East!
Have a great weekend!
I hope the good weather continues for you..we have a chance of snow next week :0(
