It was tricky to get shots of the sky, everytime I looked up the camera lens filled with water! Most of the photos were taken from underneath the black bridge. I ended up cutting my walk short as my coat had soaked through and I was worried I have to go to A&E to get my wrist re-set. Really grim weather but as my Mum says "it's why Britain is so green".

Hmmmmm... Yes, my mum used to say that too!!!! I love your cows. Reminds me of a post I did in September and the one at the right of shot reminds me of the one a blogfriend called 'Mal Hombre'. Wouldn't want to cross him! Love your raindrops - kind of sums up your experience of the day, doesn't it! Hope your weather improves. Ours is a little better, but of course we've also had our fair share of rain.

Oh, what a terrific post!!! And I do know about great weather for ducks!! Love the cows! Fun captures! Hope you have a great weekend -- a dry one preferably, I'm sure!

Such beautiful captures. Love the cow and the duck pictures the best.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
This winter has given us a lot of gray skies but your post has great color with your animals.
ReplyDeleteI love these shots, gray skies and all. The cows are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWe've got similar weather too, but no ducks to smile at through the raindrops.
ReplyDeleteI feel more like that white fellow in the first shot, personally. Bring on summertime!
We were in the UK in July many years ago and it rained often...very often! But your Mum is right about the green!
ReplyDeleteI love the cows, they are so sturdy and must just think"and now there is this ...wet" or just "Moooo". I am sure our California cows are not pleased by all the rain we have had this Winter!
Thanks for sharing the lovely moo cows with us.

Very unique selection of images, I love em.

Hope you get some dry days soon. Nice set of photos. Love the cow shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures! Somehow I don't think the cows are enjoying it nearly as much as the ducks. :)
ReplyDeleteNice photos, captured the weather nicely
ReplyDeleteRainy day?
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of snow everywhere and more are caming all the time...
Have a nice weekend
wonderful photos. I particularly liked the one of the bridge. interesting subjects too.:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess that is the plus side, but green is much more green when there's blue sky. I hope your rains subside. Love the cows!
ReplyDeleteWell...things could be worse...it could be snow!
ReplyDeleteThe shot of the cows made me lol, their expressions say it all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting, have a great weekend.
You know that is our "excuse" on Haida Gwaii but it really doesn't make the rain any easier to take, especially at this time of year! Great photos. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteSmiles
It has been raining a lot here too lately. I'm ready to see the sunshine again. From the looks of it, so are those cows.
ReplyDeleteCurious cows - what a great shot! And epic mud...
ReplyDeleteI remember that sleeping through the night phase. Nowadays the problem is getting them out of bed in the morning.
Oh and PS, thanks for the book mention. I know the Charlie Connelly book. I'm a sucker for anything with 'shipping forecast' in the title.
ReplyDeleteAnd they posed with perfect poses.... :-)
ReplyDeleteCute snaps..
