This week the sky has been various shades of white - not even interesting grey. That's when I could see it through mist, rain and yet more snow! The photo below was taken when I escaped the house for a long hike and demonstrates the off whiteness of the sky nicely.
This photo of a couple of visitors to our garden was taken last month - it's a reminder that blue skies are possible even in midwinter! Try flying around the world and spotting a sky you like by clicking on the button below.
I love the foggy woods shot. It is mysterious, yet intriguing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
I do understand GRAY! But the trees against the sky and the squirrels are perfect against any color sky! Great shots! Have a great weekend!

We've been having mostly gray skies and rain here in northern California this past week, too. Cute little squirrels in your garden.
ReplyDeleteLove the first image. So dreamy.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting with squirrels on a visit to the garden! :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots. Hope you see the blue skies more often although the first shot is great.
ReplyDeleteI love the grey skies - magical really! Wish we had squirrels visiting our garden! Lots of birds, but no squirrels! Greetings from South Africa!
ReplyDeleteWinter skies can get quite interesting at times..we just have to get real lucky to spot them..but...even with the gray skies there is a shot to be had as you did.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo even if it is not blue skies, beautiful capture.
