We got a bit scared of the swans (isn't everyone a bit scared of swans? - I think it comes from the urban myth about them being able to break a man's arm with their wings. However, I'm yet to meet anyone who has actually suffered from a swan-broken-bone. Still better to be safe!).
It was all OK, we escaped unharmed!

Great sequence of shots. We've had a lot of rain too.
ReplyDeleteLOvely pictures. I don't like geese. They told me they are like watchdogs.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous group of shots! I love the swan! Never heard of them being dangerous -- guess I should be glad I haven't gotten whopped by a swan's wing! We've had a week without rain, but it's on it's way back, so I'll enjoy the sun while it's here. I love the reflections in the water!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

Very very nice. I like the 2nd photo best!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. The first one is wonderful with the sun coming through the trees. I liked the smile on the last one best.
ReplyDeleteNice progression in this series. I like the first photograph too. Also, I really love swans...they are so elegant and graceful in the water. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe dog and child are too cute. I love that first shot.
ReplyDeleteSwans are only agressive when protecting their nests. Glad you could get out for a while.
ReplyDeleteNice photographs, I like the first one more. Thanks for sharing, have a nice SWF.
ReplyDeleteI love your family photos. Full of fun and joy!Our evening was fun-filled as well.
